As per BTRC instruction from now on you have to pay additional fees and charges to Re-register your unregistered disconnected SIM.
Only Airtel is giving an opportunity to all Airtel Pre-paid subscribers to Re-register their unregistered disconnected SIM for FREE from 1st June’16 to 7th June’16.

To know your nearest Re-registration point type LOC and send sms to 2786 (Free)
Following services will be accessible after an unregistered SIM is barred:
- Incoming SMS
- Call Center (786) – First 03 calls to the call center will be free of cost. From 4th call regular charge will be applicable
- 2786- Re-registration support short code
- Re-registration TPIN (Prepaid): Type ‘PIN’ and send to 2786
- Nearest re-registration location: Type ‘LOC’ and sent to 2786
- Self-number retrieval: Type ‘NUM’ and sent to 2786
- Re-charge
- Election commission short code 16103
- 787 IVR to check balance
To complete the biometric registration process customer must do the following
The customer has to be physically present to register/re-register the sim
The customer has to bring/show necessary documents e.g. National ID and photos
The customer has to put fingerprint on the biometric system for the unique identification.
